E-Commerce Zone

The 2001 Legislature established the new "Electronic Commerce" zone designation as part of the existing Enterprise Zone Program. Under the new designation, Roseburg will be able to offer special benefits to qualifying companies utilizing or providing the services needed for electronic commerce. Benefits include a income tax credit equal to 25% of capital improvement costs of up to $2 million per project related to electronic commerce sales, customer service, order fulfillment or broadband infrastructure. The qualifying investment must be made during the year that the business receives Enterprise Zone property tax exemption. The current qualifying area in Douglas County is the Robert's Creek Enterprise Zone. Please see map.
